Licensed and on the air

I passed my amateur radio exam and I'm the youngest person in England to pass it. You might hear me on the air as M1ODH.

What it is

Amateur radio, or ham radio, lets licensed operators talk to each other over the air, from across town to the other side of the planet. In the UK you start with a Foundation licence, then work up to Intermediate and Full. Operators spell things out with the phonetic alphabet so letters don't get muddled, and many still send Morse code.
